Evaporating dish
- As we have already mentioned, the critical function of an evaporation dish is to hold solutions that need to be evaporated. These dishes are made to evaporate pervasive substances and safely contain potentially harmful samples before, during, and after the process. The dish will be heated to high temperatures over a flame or in an oven during the evaporation process. Therefore dishes are made to be highly resistant to high temperatures and thermal shock.
