THERMOMETERS
Temperature is one of the most important process variables in the industry! There are numerous options for measuring temperature—all depending on your desired temperature range, accuracy, features, and budget.
Infrared thermometers house optics that collect the radiant infrared energy emitted from an object and focus it onto the detector. The detector converts the energy into an electrical signal, which is amplified and displayed. An infrared thermometer is often used for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control. When choosing an infrared thermometer, consider the temperature range required; size, material, environment, and distance of the measured object; and its spectral response.
Digital thermometers (digital indicators) allow you to quickly verify temperatures of foods, liquids, baths, air/gas, incubators, refrigerators and freezers. They are compact, easy-to-use, and offer results almost immediately.
The glass thermometers come in varying lengths and diameters. Choose a glass thermometer by the length that will be immersed in the liquid or gas.
